It was in the beginning
and the universe roared with chaos
stars detonating
planets birthing
primordial ocean on fire;
and from the centre of that chaos
God whispered,
no louder than a breeze in a grassfield,
God whispered,
'Now, let there be order!'
and creation swung into breathtaking beauty -
it was the first bringing to wholeness,
the first healing.
